Some nightmares hide in the shadows.

This one reaches for you.

THE GRINNING HUNGER is a vicious piece of dark horror artwork built around the old saying: “we all float down here.”

A grotesque white-faced figure lunges from a battered, grunge-soaked darkness, blazing orange hair exploding around him like fire. Cracked skin, predatory eyes, a razor-edged smile and one enormous reaching hand turn the image into something halfway between a lost 1980s horror poster and the cover of a movie you probably weren’t supposed to rent as a kid.

Deep blacks, scorched reds, dirty golds and violent orange give the artwork a wonderfully distressed, almost apocalyptic texture.

This isn’t cute Halloween décor.

It’s wall-crawling, sewer-dwelling, sleep-with-the-lights-on horror.

Perfect for horror fans, dark-art collectors, monster-movie addicts and anyone who believes a room is considerably more interesting when something on the wall appears capable of killing you.
